Life
I have spent my life surrounded by web and user experience designers who have instilled me with a desire to understand how to improve people's journey. My love for learning about psychology, linguistics, and biology has led me to both formal and independent study of these topics. Knowledge of how people (and other organisms) think, behave, communicate, and interact with their environments provides invaluable insight for creating designs that users find satisfying, easy and functional.
The Universe
My love for science (and science fiction) has taught me the value of technology, exploration, and discovery. Technologies and tools help enhance, streamline, and improve how people go about their lives. I am determined to constantly push the boundary of my familiarity with the tools and methods of UX, so I continue to improve my ability to create better experiences.
And Everything
I love to learn about everything. From mythology to games, from pop culture to the evolution of eyes and vision, from the extinct order of aquatic arthropods known as eurypterids to astronomy, from cats to giant robots. As long as there is something new to learn, I will dedicate myself to finding out almost everything that I possibly can about nearly any topic that piques my interest.
